An old finca in Ibiza with Ask Og Eng

In the magnificent scenery of Ibiza there’s an over century old finca which Ask og Eng has been part of renovating into a tranquil home away from home. When designing the interior for the house it was important to preserve the rough charm and materiality of the building. Infusing this Mediterranean house with nordic minimalism may seem contradicting, but the quality and warmth of bamboo elevates the calming experience of the room.

In every corner of this finca you will find customized bamboo furniture from bed frames, vanity units, wardrobes and of course the heart of every home; the kitchen. Everything designed and made by Ask og Eng. The kitchen is designed as a communal area where everyone can gather around the kitchen island centered in the room. The carefully selected natural materials with tactile qualities, in line with the traditional finca combined with the light and open space, leaves a feeling of serenity and mindfulness.
