Still Wood exhibition by House of Hommés

Earlier this year in Milan I visited “Still Wood” a presentation by Hommés Studio and Tapis Studio. The image above I spotted on Instagram announced the presentation of the work of the studios. It was a design concept made with AI and I must say it looked so promising. I added the exhibition to my Milan design week schedule.

What I found was a celebration of marquetry and craftsmanship. At Villa Mansoni meticulously crafted scenes depicting everyday life were showcased. Looking at the different shapes and designs of the two studios I could see where the inspiration of that image I spotted came from. It was different than I expected but still something new for me and I love to give you a glimpse of their world and products.

Hommés Studio is a design studio that creates unique furniture design, lighting, and decor accessories. The studio conveys its inspiration into high-end and statement design pieces, paying particular attention to how they can fit contemporary spaces with bold and unique identities.

Hommés Studio was born from a skilled merge of visionary identities and distinctive styles from Art Deco, Mid Century, Modern, Maximalist, and Memphis styles. Born from the desire to create an eclectic tapestry identity with an eye-catching design and versatile nature, the brand created vanguardist rug brand Tapis Studio.

House of hommés is the home of the unique and bold design brands that share the same ultra-modern lexicon. Starting as Hommés Studio, the brand’s unceasing creative evolution, and mutation branched out Tapis Studio, ACH Collection & ACH4Pets, and Gallery Design Store.

Tailored to comprehensive lifestyles, House of hommés creates modern furniture, bold decor objects, luxe pet accessories, stylish rugs that blend artisan knowledge and industrial innovation, and sophisticated wallpapers & fabrics featuring rich patterns and refined textures, paying particular attention to how they fit in the same space.
