Clean air inspired by nature – Meet Briiv 2.0 Air Purifier

If you look at the images made at my home, you probably noticed I am not a real plant lover, I literally can count all plants at home on one hand. I love being in nature, love the plants in my garden, and can really appreciate a beautiful group of plants that visually fit together well in an interior. I just don’t necessarily need plants in my own home.

On the other hand I can not deny the benefits of having plants at home and this is where Briiv 2.0 Pro comes in. A UK made Air Purifier which is as powerful as 3,043 medium size houseplants. Giving me the option to enjoy the benefits of plants at home, without having them all around and having to take care of them. Which, I must admit, is something I often forget.

Clean air at home

Living in the city, and looking at the white patio tiles that turn black after a few days of heavy rain, makes me realize every time how much air pollution I am probably exposed to. Even indoors we pollute the air quality simply by cooking, open fire and burning candles or using cleaning products. That said, I am happy to welcome Briiv as my latest ‘vosgesparis partner’ for the coming months, and try out the Briiv 2 Pro Air Purifier.

How to use the Briiv Air Purifier

Briiv’s sustainable design extends to its filtering system, which uses three natural filters: moss, coconut, and a nano matrix filter. These materials work together to purify the air in your home while keeping plastic usage to a minimum. Once installed and switched on air is pulled through the 3 layers, each one specially designed to capture air particles. Large particles are captured by moss and coconut and the fine matrix filter captures the real small parts.

The moss and coconut filters are made to last up to twelve months, and the nano matrix filter will last up to three months. A One year filter pack will have four nano matrix filters included to swap these out after three months. The one I show is the Briiv 2Pro and is filled with Yorkshire moss.

With the Briiv 2.0 app you can set up a convenient way to set schedules, monitor filter health, and use Briiv remotely, so you can control Briiv how and when you want. With the Zone mode Briiv 2 Pro can link together with other Briiv units, including the original Briiv, to create a smart air monitoring system that works to improve your entire home’s air quality like no other air purifier. Briiv 2 Pro contains AI powered air quality sensor that can automatically turn your Briivs on to clean the air and can also identify specific pollutants in your air. This feature is called Canary mode and I am really curious to try this out.

The fragrance diffuser of the new Briiv 2.0 allows you to add your desired scent to your room or home while simultaneously cleaning your air. A medium- sized room of 16m2 is cleaned in 21 minutes. The compact size will make it easy to use the Briiv in different rooms and you can simply use it once a day. Briiv performs with or without a connection to WiFi or the available app, as you can also just simply use the touch buttons.

Committed to sustainability

Briiv is an air purifier made with 90% renewable and natural materials, designed to filter air the way nature intended. Instead of using traditional plastics, Briiv uses a bio-plastic made from elephant grass, a crop that captures carbon and fully biodegrades. This grass is grown in areas where regular crops can’t thrive, adding to its environmental benefits.
By choosing Briiv, you help reduce the production of plastic waste, preventing thousands of tonnes of plastic from being created. The company’s commitment to sustainability makes it stand out, as it uses less plastic than any other air purifier on the market.
